All I'm saying is that I wish I were a baseball team owner. According to espn Peter Angelos gets a sweet deal from Major League Baseball. It could go one of two ways, either MLB guarantees the Orioles will make a set dollar value or they guarantee the value of the team. Meaning if Angelos doesn't make as much as he wants or if he can't sell the team for as much as he wants, MLB will make up the difference. Let's think about this from the Capitalism side. So, I introduce competition into your market and instead of you having to scramble to get a better product and win the fans, someone else will just pay you for what you lost? Crap! I think Angelos just can't handle the fact that he'll be bested by Carroll, et. al. It's like the Republicans are running Major League Baseball, the rich get richer and don't have to try any harder. In fact... have you ever seen George Bush and Major League Baseball in the same room at the same time? Bush can't even speak when Major League Baseball is drinking a glass of water. Hmmm...you know what? They're suspect.
