2004 Expected Win-Loss and Team Records for Starting Pitchers:

Two Expos are in the bottom 5 of unluckiest pitchers according to Baseball Prospectus. Listed below are the actual win-loss record of Zach Day and Livan Hernandez, followed by the statistic "LUCK" which defines how lucky or unlucky pitchers have been and the expected win-loss record of each pitcher.

Zach Day:
W-L: 5 - 10
LUCK: (-6.3)
ExpW-L: 10.2 - 8.8

Livan Hernandez:
W-L: 10 - 14
LUCK: (-6.7)
ExpW-L: 18.2 - 13.8

LUCK: Luck, as measured by the number of extra wins, and short losses the pitcher actually got, versus his expected record. LUCK = (W-E(W))+(E(L)-L)
