ESPN.com - MLB - Vidro to undergo season-ending knee surgery:

"Vidro, a three-time All-Star, chose to undergo the procedure after a recent MRI on his knee, which has bothered him over parts of the last two seasons and caused him to miss four straight starts, including Wednesday's game against Los Angeles."

More and more, I'm upset that the Expos will be leaving Montreal. So when Vidro, rightfully, ends his season to better for next year, I have a little pang of selfishness wishing he would play it out for Montreal.
