Rafting
Thanks to Renee, I have some pictures from the rafting trip.
Here I am enjoying a nice, no wait I mean body-freezing and brain-debilitating swim in the 55-degree water. If you look closely, it seems as if I'm smiling. I'm not - I'm gritting my teeth hoping to not drown b/c I can't move my arms. Cindy and Penny are the other two brave souls in the water with me. It may seem as they are swimming around and enjoying themselves - but what really happened is that I pushed off of them to get back to the raft. Sorry about that, girls.

Here's me trying to look stoic after getting out of the water. I don't think it worked. It almost seems like one of those high school/college graduation pictures, where they tell you to look into the future. I'm thinking about warm clothes and hot chocolate. What you can't see in this picture is Anna getting ready to push me back into the water, shattering my dreams of hot chocolate like an icicle knocked off of the eaves.

And finally, here's our brave crew (L to R: Me, Gabriel, Anna, Renee, Cindy, Rupa, Penny and the guide). No overdramatic comment to go with this one.

Later.
